FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldogs earned six wins on the opening day of the Fresno State Invitational on Friday at the Aquatics Center.
Four individuals and two relay teams earned wins with the 200 Free Relay team of Sara Lucchini, Mackenzie Hitler, Wiktoria Dabrowska & Athena Clayson clocking a time of 1:34.63 and the 400 Medley Relay team of Clayson, Keren Wasserman, Lucchini & Dabrowska registered a winning time of 3:48.68.
Clayson and Darina Khisiamova earned the top two spots in the 200 Free while Hutler was first in the 50 Free (23.81), Samarah Melia won the 100 Back (57.79) and Korrie Tengan placed first in the 100 Fly (57.64).
In total, the 'Dogs collected 21 season best times on Friday.
The Fresno State Invitational wraps up on Saturday with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 4:30 p.m. at the Aquatics Center.
