Bulldogs close January with 85-62 loss at Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. - The Fresno State men's basketball team was unable to overcome a slow start and suffered an 85-62 road loss to the Wyoming Cowboys on Tuesday night at Arena-Auditorium.

Fresno State (7-14, 3-7 Mountain West) never led in the contest, which saw Wyoming (7-14, 2-7 MW) take advantage of the perimeter and the glass - early and often.

Three Bulldogs finished in double figures led by 11 points and seven assists from Isaiah Hill.

Jemarl Baker added 10 points, three assists and four steals while Isaih Moore came off the bench to chip in 10 points and grab four rebounds.

Leo Colimerio registered nine points, grabbed a team-high six rebounds and added three steals for the Bulldogs, who lost their seventh consecutive road conference game.

How It Happened

Getting off to a slow start, the 'Dogs fell behind 19-10 midway through the first half and the Cowboys extended their lead to 22 at halftime leading 47-25 at the break.

Looking to chip away at the Cowboys lead in the second half, the Bulldogs got within 14 with 4:56 to play in the second half after a three-pointer by Colimerio, but the 'Dogs could not get any closer falling by a final margin of 23.
