A look at Barkley:
Barkley transfers to Fresno State as a wide receiver from Toledo (2022). He spent three seasons at TCU (2019-21) and began his collegiate career at Palomar City College (2018).
Appeared in 11 games and notched five starts at Toledo in 2022. He totaled 22 receptions for 289 yards and three touchdowns.
Limited by injuries at TCU in 2021. Had one catch for 48 yards in two games that season. He played in 10 games in 2020, totaling seven receptions for 33 yards, and redshirted in 2019.
While at Palomar CC, he had 25 receptions for 583 yards and nine touchdowns.
Ranked as the No. 20 junior college prospect in California and No. 11 wide receiver in the nation following the 2018 season.
A look at Baumgartner:
Baumgartner joins the Fresno State roster as a junior college addition out of the College of San Mateo. He will have two seasons and a redshirt year available.
First team Junior College All-American defensive lineman
Helped lead the College of San Mateo to a state championship title in 2022, the first in the program's history.
Appeared in 10 games, totaled 33 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two fumble recoveries and an interception.
Was a first team defensive line selection in high school.
Had Mountain West offers from Boise State, Utah State, Nevada, and New Mexico. Had additional offers from Arizona State, Kennesaw State UTEP, Sam Houston, New Mexico State and Lamar.
A look at Doss:
Doss comes to Fresno State after spending one year at Cerritos College. He will have three seasons, and a redshirt available.
In 11 games played in 2022, he caught 41 passes for 848 yards and 12 touchdowns.
He totaled four 100-yard games and three multi-score games in one season at Cerritos College.
Averaged 20.7 yards per catch
Doss was listed as a 2-star recruit out of St. John Bosco High School.
Was a member of the national championship, state championship and CIF championship team as a freshman at St. John Bosco.
Was a dual sport athlete in football and track & field while in high school.
A look at Gill:
Gill comes to Fresno State from Boston College. He spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons at Boston College after beginning his collegiate career at Ohio State (2018-19). He will have one year of eligibility at Fresno State.
Once transferring to Boston College, he became an immediate starter for the Eagles, playing in 11 games and starting seven in 2020. He caught 20 passes for 435 yards and a touchdown in his first season there.
In 2021, Gill played in nine games with five starts, catching 24 passes for 269 yards and a touchdown.
In 2022, he caught 27 passes for 388 yards as the team's starter. He also served as the team's primary kickoff returner, totaling 24 returns for 509 yards last season.
Gill redshirted in his freshman year at Ohio State (2018), seeing action in two games that season. In 2019, he played in six games as a redshirt freshman. He finished the season with six receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown.
Out of high school (Westerville South), Gill was rated a four-star recruit and was considered one of the best all-around athletes nationally in his 2018 recruiting cycle. He was a Consensus Top 50 Prospect.
A Look at Munier-Bailey:
Munier-Bailey transfers to Fresno State as a defensive end from Idaho. He will have two seasons of eligibility, and a redshirt season still available, as a Bulldog.
In the Fall 2021 season, he had seven tackles and one sack in eight game appearances.
Led Idaho with five sacks in 2022.
He also led the team in tackles for loss at eight for 43 yards. Munier-Bailey had 22 total tackles on the season.
Played just one season of football at Juan Diego Catholic in Utah, but immediately helped out the program playing both sides of the ball. He made his greatest contributions as a linebacker and defensive end. Munier-Bailey was a dual-sport athlete, also playing basketball in high school.
A look at Ugwu:
Ugwu comes to Fresno State as a transfer from Kansas State (2021-22). He began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College from 2019-21 (Kansas). He will have two years of eligibility remaining at Fresno State.
At Kansas State, Ugwu redshirted in the 2021 season and appeared in one game for the Big 12 Champions in 2022.
He started every game during the spring 2021 season for Hutchinson CC.
Ugwu earned First Team NJCAA All-America honors as he helped the Blue Dragons earn a perfect 8-0 record and a victory in the NJCAA National Championship
He was a first team all-conference honoree as a sophomore
Ugwu signed to Kansas State over offers from Baylor, Colorado, Texas Tech, Houston, ECU, Marshall, UMass, NMSU, Southern Miss, Western Kentucky and many FCS schools.

Kickoff at Valley Children's Stadium is right around the corner. The 2023 home schedule is highlighted by six home dates, kicking off the home slate against Eastern Washington (Sept. 9) and Kent State (Sept. 23). The Bulldogs' host Mountain West opponents Nevada (Sept. 30), UNLV (Oct. 28), Boise State (Nov. 4) and New Mexico (Nov. 18) in 2023.
