LAS VEGAS - Fresno State women's tennis team completed their time in Las Vegas for the Mountain West Fall Qualifier at the Darling Tennis Courts.
The tournament started on a solid note for sophomore Paulina Montiel after grabbing a singles win against Kochelaevskaia (7-6, 2-6, 7-5 ). Montiel then played through the round of 16 singles before falling to UNLV's Kliuch in three sets on Friday afternoon.
Bulldog doubles pair of Klara Vukicevic and Monitel fell short in the opening round against Boise State's duo in a tiebreaker match (8-7). Vukicevic saw two singles matches over the course of the tournament. The senior fell to San Diego State's Chan in the opening round but found her groove in the consolation bracket against Morgan on Friday afternoon.
