Could Shohei Ohtani Face a Year-Long Suspension, or Worse?

News broke yesterday that Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani’s interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara stole $4.5M from Ohtani. Dan breaks down the details of the story and has nothing but more questions, the most compelling of which is whether Ohtani could face discipline from Major League Baseball. Mizuhara’s original statement implicated Ohtani, but he has since recanted. Nobody wants this to escalate, however, it’s an ongoing criminal investigation and emerging facts might force MLB’s hand.
