Why Wouldn’t the Lakers Draft Bronny James?

The latest rumors have the Los Angeles Lakers eyeing LeBron James son, USC G Bronny James in the upcoming NBA Draft, assuming he decides to turn pro. Doug Gottlieb thinks it’s an easy decision for the Lakers to invest a late second-round pick if it means they can keep King James in a Lakers’ uniform. And they might be able to gain some concessions from LeBron when trying to re-sign him if they have his son on the roster.

Doug Gottlieb: “Why wouldn’t you do this? All you got to do is find a late second round draft pick, you know, somewhere in the 50’s and draft Bronny (James), and I get LeBron (James) back? Now the question is: is LeBron willing to give back in part of this deal?”
