Colin Cowherd Describes Every NFL Week 6 Game in Just Three Words (Oct. 14)
(FULL Video at Bottom of Page)
Giants at Patriots: âBRADY WITH ANYONEâ â âFive different people have led the Patriots in receiving this season, including Antonio Brown, and 13 different receivers have a reception. Everybody loses people and complains, but well-coached teams overcome injuries and backups. Tom Brady has completed TD passes to 75 different wideouts and nobody has had more of a mish-mash to work with than him.â
Panthers at Bucs: âSEE YA CAMâ â âTheyâre now 7-2 when Cam Newton doesnât play and 4-0 this year. Kyle Allen is not the ideal quarterback but they have a good defense, talented wide outs, and a star running back. Allen isnât a world class athlete but you donât break this puppy up.â
Seahawks at Browns: âBAKER TURNOVER MAKERâ â âLeads the NFL in interceptions with 12, and leads the NFL in turnovers with 13. His 11 picks through 6 games are the most since the mid-80âs in Cleveland. The Browns are 5-1 when Baker doesnât throw a pick. Baker is feeling himself too much after all those national commercials.â
Bengals at Ravens: âBEST IN WORSTâ â âThis division is TERRIBLE. The 8 wins for the AFC North are the fewest in any division in football. The Ravens are 4-2 and the rest of the division is 4-14.â
Eagles at Vikings: âYOU LIKE THAT?!â â âKirk Cousins was great, 22 of 29, and had a passer rating of 138. The weapons for Minnesota are incredible.â
Redskin at Dolphins: âLAST PLACE FIN-ISHâ â âThe Dolphins have lost eight straight games, but can I make the argument that they play hard? They were competitive yesterday and lost. Thatâs all I want. If Tua Tagovailoa is the guy, he could make an immediate impact for a team still playing their butts off.â
Chiefs at Texans: âNO SACKS AGAINâ â âThis was the second straight game Deshaun Watson wasnât sacked and heâs 7-0 in games with one or fewer sacks, with a passer rating of 118. This is why we defended Bill OâBrien when they traded two first rounds picks for Laremy Tunsil. I donât care about college players, I care about my number one asset getting his arse kicked every week.â
Saints at Jaguars: âSTEADY WITH TEDDYâ â âEvery Saints win has been by seven points or less, so thereâs a little stress here but itâs okay. Their roster is fantastic and I missed on this defense. At this point in Drew Breesâ career, you can make the argument that the closest thing to him is Teddy Bridgewater.â
Falcons at Cardinals: âJUSTâ CANâT QUINNâ â âDan Quinn is in big trouble. This team is awful on the road and is giving up 35 points per game with a head coach who is supposed to be a defensive specialist.â
49ers at Rams: â78 YARDS PASSINGâ â âFirst time all year Jared Goff didnât have a touchdown, and seven points is the fewest points scored by a Sean McVay team at home.â
Jets at Cowboys: âDARNOLD THE DIFFERENCEâ â âWhen Sam plays they win, and when Sam doesnât they lose. For the record, USC is sub-.500 since Darnold left and the Jets collapsed without him. This week he plays Bill Belichick, but he is a playmaker.â
Titans at Broncos: âMILE LOW MARIOTAâ â âMarcus Mariota is tied for first in the NFL in sacks. Mariota is not accurate and Iâve always felt he was the least verbal quarterback in the league at a verbal position. He was benched for Ryan Tannehill.â
Steelers at Chargers: âWAS WATCHING BASEBALLâ â âGame 2 ALCS, Yankees Astros. Give me the Yankees over the Steelers/Chargers with Pittsburgh is starting their third string quarterback. I moved on and watched baseball.â
Lions at Packers: âLIONS FOR REAL?â â âThe Lions have won four straight versus the Packers and Davante Adams is out. If the Lions win they would move into first place into the NFC North at 3-1-1. Matt Patricia has turned this thing around.â
