The Brooklyn Nets Finally Got Something Right

Today on The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to the Brooklyn Nets naming Jacque Vaughn as their head coach. Despite the rumors of Brooklyn hiring former Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, Vaughn officially replaced Steve Nash at the helm and the guys tell you why the Nets organization finally got something right!

Rob Parker: “For once, the Nets did something right. Given all the things that have happened in Brooklyn, to hire Ime Udoka would have been too much, too soon. He’s too hot to touch right now. Maybe it was the Kyrie Irving situation that got in the way of moving forward, but cooler heads did prevail.”

Chris Broussard: “The Brooklyn fans really could have made it tough. Basketball wise, I think Udoka is what the Nets needed and I kind of liked him for the Nets. But I do think right now, Brooklyn’s number one priority has to be getting back to being a basketball franchise period. Right now they’re a soap opera.”
